Tuesday, August 26th - NMREC Mandatory Course
The NMREC Mandatory Course is the core 8 hour required course for New Mexico Real Es-tate Brokers license renewal.
* The course fee for SCRAR members is $95 if registered and paid on or before August 19, 2008. If members register or pay after the 19th, add $25 to the course fee.
* The course fee for Non-SCRAR members is $115 if registered and paid on or before August 19, 2008. If members register or pay after the 19th. add $25 to the course fee.
This 8 hour course, presents and overview of major areas with which a NM Real Estate Broker should be familiar. Every Broker must take this course, in person, during each three year cycle. A written exam must be taken after the Mandatory course. Brokers will need to complete the class, then call a testing center in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Farm-ington, Roswell or Las Cruces, and schedule this written exam. Exam cost will be $95 paid to the PSI testing center. All NM RE Brokers are required to take 30 CE hours every three years; the 8 hour Mandatory course is the only re-quired course, the remaining 22 hours can comprise of any NMREC approved course.

SCRAR Cancellation Policy: If payment and registration are not received on or before the early registration cutoff date you will be charged an additional $25, no exceptions!! Cancellation 10 business days or more prior to class; FULL REFUND, 5 to 10 business days prior to class; $15 less of paid amount, and less than 5 business days prior to class; NO REFUND. However, a student may switch places with another licensee and have that person reimburse them for tuition paid to the Association. The Association reserves the right to cancel any course if the minimum number of students required to meet the cost. In case of cancellation of the class, all tuition and fees will be reimbursed. Minimum number of students needed for these classes is 16. Students must be in attendance at continuing education classes at least 90% of sched-uled time. Certification will not be issued to anyone not conforming to the rule!!
