Using a REALTOR® ombudsman offers numerous benefits for members by providing a timely, informal, and confidential avenue for resolving misunderstandings and disputes. An ombudsman serves as a neutral third party who listens to concerns, clarifies misunderstandings, and facilitates communication between parties, often preventing minor issues from escalating into formal complaints.


This process not only helps preserve professional relationships but also upholds the integrity and ethical standards of the REALTOR® organization. By offering guidance rooted in the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, the ombudsman program promotes accountability and fosters a culture of professionalism and mutual respect among members.
