Welcome new EVP for REALTORS Assn of New Mexico

The REALTORS Association of New Mexico names Steven Anaya as their new Executive Vice-President. Steve will begin his duties today and will be joining RANM members and REALTORS ® from around the country at NAR’s Conference and Expo November 12-16 in Las Vegas.

A native New Mexican, Steven Anaya is the Former Director of Fannie Mae’s New Mexico Partnership Office. As director, Anaya oversaw House New Mexico, Fannie Mae’s five year, $6 billion investment strategy with the State of New Mexico to provide affordable housing opportunities to more than 66,000 families. A native New Mexican, Anaya served as the State Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Development. In this position, Anaya directed the department’s programs for rural development, housing business, and rural utilities, which helped thousands of families obtain affordable housing. During his career, Anaya has been touted as one of the top ten “Albuquerqueans to Watch” managing the New Mexico State Fair. Under his four-year leadership, the state fair revenue grew from $5 million to more than $10 million.
