In real estate, we talk a lot about market shifts, contracts, and client care — but this month is a reminder to also take care of the person behind the business. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it’s an important opportunity for REALTORS® to pause, check in with ourselves, and support one another.

Our industry is fast‑paced, high‑pressure, and often emotionally demanding. Long hours, tight deadlines, and the responsibility of guiding clients through major life decisions can take a real toll. Prioritizing mental well‑being isn’t a luxury — it’s part of sustaining a healthy, successful career.

This month, we encourage members to:

  • Take small breaks throughout the day

  • Set boundaries where you can

  • Reach out to colleagues, friends, or professionals when you need support

  • Practice the same care and compassion for yourself that you offer your clients

As your local REALTOR® Association, we’re committed to fostering a culture where wellness is part of the conversation and where members feel supported — not just in business, but as people.
