I. Making Payments on Invoices

Streamline AMS provides a straightforward process for members to pay their invoices. Open invoices are prominently displayed, ensuring members are aware of pending payments.

  • Invoice Notification: Open invoices are indicated by a "notification banner on the Home Page" and by a notice in the invoice module on the home screen.

  • Accessing Invoices: Members can click a "link 'Here' to see open invoices." To view a specific invoice, they simply "click on the invoice number."

  • Initiating Payment: To proceed with payment, members click "Pay Here."

  • Payment Method Options: Members have two primary options for payment:

    • Direct Credit Card Entry: They can "Enter Credit Card information."

    • Using a Payment Profile: Alternatively, they can "select to use payment profile," which eliminates the need to re-key card information.

  • Confirmation: Upon successful payment, an "Email Confirmation will be emailed to the email address set up in Streamline AMS."


II. Utilizing Payment Profiles

The payment profile feature is designed to streamline the payment process by securely storing credit/debit card information, making it unnecessary for members to re-enter details for each transaction.

  • Integration with NRDS/NAR: A key benefit is that "Members can utilize their NRDS/NAR Payment Profile to pay their bills within the AMS." This suggests a unified payment system across different platforms.

  • Efficiency: The primary advantage of payment profiles is that they "eliminate the need to rekey their credit/debit card information each time they need to pay an invoice."

  • Accessing Payment Profiles: Members can access and manage their payment profiles by navigating to "Invoice/Poll or Reports/Invoices, then click Manage Payment Profile."

  • Adding a Payment Profile: The process for adding a new profile involves:

    • Selecting the "Association/Board Name."

    • Clicking "Add Payment Profile." (Note: "If your Association/Board also has an MLS you will have to setup a payment profile for each company.")

    • Entering a "Profile Name" and selecting the "credit card Payment Type."

    • Finally, entering "Card information - Save as Payment Profile."

  • Security and Storage: It's important to note that "Payment Profile card information is stored with the National Association of REALTORS® eCommerce system."

  • Management Limitations: Once added, "Payment Profiles cannot be edited, they must be deleted and added again." This highlights a need for careful entry or a structured process for updates.


III. Setting Up AutoPay

AutoPay offers a convenient solution for members to ensure their invoices are paid automatically on the due date, preventing late payments.

  • Enabling AutoPay: To set up AutoPay, members go to "Invoice/Poll," and click "Manage Payment Profiles."

  • Activation Steps: Under the "AutoPay column," members will see "setup or disable." To activate, they must:

    • "Select the option - Use this AutoPay Profile to pay."

    • "Read and acknowledge the disclaimer."

    • "Enable AutoPay."

  • Automatic Billing: Once enabled, "AutoPay will automatically bill on the due date of the invoice."

  • Weekend/Holiday Processing: If the "due date falls on a weekend or Holiday, it will be processed the following business day." This clarifies the timing of automated payments.
