The REALTOR® Marks mean something—and it’s up to all of us to use them correctly. As highlighted in this month’s trademark tip, REALTOR® refers exclusively to members of the National Association of REALTORS®. It does not replace the professional terms real estate agent or real estate broker.

🔍Using the Marks accurately protects the integrity of our brand and reinforces the value of membership.

  • Incorrect: Sarah works as a REALTOR®.

  • Correct: Sarah works as a real estate agent and is a REALTOR®.

Consistent, proper usage helps preserve one of the most recognized and trusted designations in our industry.
