Silver City Unveils Draft Strategic Housing Plan: Community Feedback Needed!

The Town of Silver City has launched a draft Strategic Housing Plan and is requesting the community's feedback!

This plan will help Silver City tackle housing affordability issues and promote new housing to be built. We especially need feedback on the strategies to accomplish these goals as these will become the roadmap for the Town and community partners.

The plan is in two parts and can be found here: https://silvercity.konveio.com/silver-city-strategic-housing-plan-pt-1-2. Part 1 contains a brief community assessment, including market data, a housing needs assessment, housing targets, and housing strategies. Part 2 contains a deep dive into the community profile data and an appendix from Housing New Mexico. Comments can be made directly in the document.
