New Mexico Association of REALTORS®
The New Mexico Association of REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate in New Mexico, is a state-wide trade association representing nearly 6,600 members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate markets throughout New Mexico. The NMAR® is the business and public policy advocate for its members and the consumers they serve.
New Mexico Association of REALTORS® Legal Hotline provides direct, toll free access to a real estate attorney who can provide information to REALTOR members to identify issues before they become problems and answer day-to-day legal questions that arise in the real estate business.
Standard forms and contracts are one of NMAR’s most important and popular products. Forms are revised on a regular basis to comply with law and regulatory changes.
National Association of REALTORS®
The National Association of REALTORS® is America's largest trade association, representing over 1.1 million members, including NAR's institutes, societies, and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS® who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others engaged in the real estate industry. Members belong to one or more of approximately 1,200 local associations/boards and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS®.
The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
New Mexico Real Estate Commission
The mission of the New Mexico Real Estate Commission is to protect the public and enhance the professional competence of real estate brokers. The New Mexico Real Estate Commission was created by state law in 1959 and charged with enforcing the Real Estate License Law and the Real Estate Commission Rules.
The real estate industry in New Mexico is one of the largest economic activities in the state. Through upturns and downturns, real estate professionals in New Mexico remain committed to the highest standards in professionalism.
The New Mexico Real Estate Commission is comprised of five members appointed by the Governor. Four of the members are licensed New Mexico real estate brokers, and one is a non-broker public member appointed to bring a consumer perspective to the Commission.
